Your Role.

As a Dedicated LEX Receptionist, you’re a people-person who knows how to listen. Your can-do attitude travels over the phone lines. You can think quickly on your toes and know how to turn a bad situation into a positive experience. You’ll be fielding calls for countless businesses spread over the globe. For some, you’ll be the first point of contact as a lead generator. For others, you’ll assume the role of receptionist or appointment-scheduler. As such, you’ll be switching hats several times in a matter of minutes while maintaining an air of confidence.

Your Responsibilities.

First and foremost, you’ll create and deliver HAPPINESS. The majority of your workday will be spent using a cloud-based phone system to give our client’s callers exceptional service that leaves them happier than when they started dialing. You’ll be using an Internet-connected computer to gather information and handle calls per our client’s instructions while maintaining the poise of a true professional.

Your Skills.

Your customer service skills have all the hallmarks of an expert: efficiency, friendliness, a positive attitude; the whole nine yards. Your communication skills shine in both text and conversation, and you can be trusted to reliably show up on time. You have the technical know-how to operate our software and the ability to keep your cool in occasionally stressful and difficult situations.

As this is a remote, computer-based position, you should be able to effectively operate a computer-based (VOIP) phone system and be proficient in Google-based products, like Google Docs, Sheets, etc. You’ll also need to be comfortable using scheduling programs, managing calendar timelines, and entering information into appropriate computer databases. Compiling reports and statistical information will also be a fun part of your job!

Learning: You should be continually learning as part of your professional and personal development. You should seek out new knowledge and ways to do things. We share the growth mindset of building a “learn it all” organization rather than a “know it all” organization.
