Job Details

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Canada

Monitor and sign off hours in time & attendance system (Kronos)

Import hours and changes submitted from pay groups into payroll system (Workday)

Manually enter payroll input where required

Balance payroll entries to reports as outlined by the Payroll Supervisor

Issue, track and reconcile On-Demand payments and reversals where required

Assist employees and supervisors in using the timekeeping system

Assist field HUBs with payroll enquiries and submissions

Provide guidance and source of reference to field HUB HR Leads for all payroll concerns

Resolves employee questions and problems with adherence to payroll policies and procedures

Prepare and submit all required Record of Employment (ROE)

US

Assist with all payroll activities, including payroll entry, balancing, and follow up.

Job Specifications :
Knowledge of payroll laws and requirement in Canada

Advanced Excel skills, including arithmetic formulas and pivot tables

Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions and ability to perform basic arithmetic and payroll calculations

Ability to meet deadlines and to concentrate and pay attention to detail

Interpersonal skills necessary to lead others and work effectively with agency representatives

Familiarity with Workday and Kronos time and attendance software system preferred

Requirements:
Canadian Payroll Association PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation

Minimum of 2 years of full cycle payroll experience

Experience using Workday and Kronos Time System is an asset

Proficiency in oral and written communication in French languages is an asset
