Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Job Status: Temporary Full-Time | 6 month contract

Location: 969 Robson St, Vancouver (BC)

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Bell Media is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join the local sales team for our radio and TV stations – 103.5 MOVE, 94.5 Virgin Radio, Funny 1040, BNN Bloomberg Radio, and CTV Vancouver.

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, this ambitious, big picture thinker will have a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail and administrative skills, and be a great team player.

The role will be responsible for the following;

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day to day operations of a broadcast media sales team

• Support management and the Sales team by independently facilitating, prioritizing and executing on their requirements

• Create and maintain sales proposals and other resources

• Advertising Sales order entry for Vancouver Local TV and Radio as required

• Reconciliations for Client ad campaigns

• Initiate new advertiser set-up

• Maintain database of current and prospective clients

• Liaise with Retail Agencies, external clients, internal clients and the general public in a polite and professional manner

• Strong customer service orientation

• Reception relief as required

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Administrative and/or marketing professional role

• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients

• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to handle multiple demands by prioritizing effectively

• Strong attention to detail is a must

• Demonstrated proficiency with Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook

• Knowledge and experience with IBMS, Wide Orbit, OnBoard and Sales Force are definite assets

• Knowledge of multi-platform media sales an asset

• Must be able to work comfortably as part of a team, utilizing strong collaboration and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
