Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Plan the Project
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the utility construction industry with both aerial and underground telecommunications experience. Must have the ability to work in fast, paced dynamic environment working on highly visible, time sensitive projects.
High School Diploma or GED
Two years of management or supervisory experience preferred
Two years of prior project management experience preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (email),
Working knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Simple project and cost accounting
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks, a Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated physical as a requirement of the job and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
