About the team and the role

The Community Bank Toora has an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a career in banking by undertaking a Traineeship as a Customer Service Officer.

They are a fun, happy and close knit team who are customer and community focused – really embodying the values of the Bank. Toora is a thriving community that is growing in population but still holds onto the community feeling township that is is.

In this role, you will be given the guidance you need to do what you do best – listening to customers and using your skills to help them with transactions, provide education on our online platforms and tools, recommend the banks products and services, and assist our customers achieve their financial goals.

We will support you to achieve a Certificate III in Business. This is undertaken as paid on-the-job training within work hours and in conjunction with a Registered Training Organisation. In return you’ll receive a 12 month Full Time, Fixed Term contract, with salary paid based on the National Training Award.

Hold a strong desire to find solutions that truly meet customer needs

Have experience in the customer service – though this is a plus but certainly not essential, we understand that you may be starting out in your professional career
